Gregory Wheeler
for Town Meeting

Brookline
Precinct 3

Hi, I'm Gregory Wheeler and I’m running for Town Meeting to help make streets safer for pedestrians and bicyclists, expand housing opportunities, and support our public schools.

When I first moved to Brookline in 2013, I sold my car because I couldn’t afford to keep it while paying such high rent, but I was thrilled to live in an environment that empowered me to travel by foot, bicycle, and public transit. Thirteen years later and I’m now raising a family in Brookline and I want to give more families the opportunity to enjoy our great Town.

Why I’m Running

I’ve used data to inform complex policy decisions in Massachusetts for over a decade - currently at the Executive Office of Health & Human Services and previously at the MBTA. I hold a Masters in Public Policy from Brandeis University and am also a Certified Public Accountant well versed in budgets and financial management.

My wife and I are raising our two year old daughter on Kent Street and there’s nothing I enjoy more than riding around town with them on our cargo bikes; say hi if you see us roll by!
